What We Collect
- Account information: email address, name, zip code (provided at signup)
- Deal data: vehicle details, prices, and dealer offers you enter into CarVeil
- Usage data: pages visited, features used, search queries (via PostHog analytics)
- Payment data: processed by Stripe. CarVeil does not store credit card numbers.
- Cookies: session cookies for authentication, analytics cookies (PostHog).
How We Use It
- To provide CarVeil's deal analysis and benchmarking features
- To send alerts and notifications you've configured
- To improve CarVeil's accuracy and coverage
- To process payments and manage your subscription
What We Don't Do
- We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
- We do not share individual deal submissions. Benchmarks are aggregated only.
- We do not use your data for advertising.
Data Storage
- Data is stored in the United States via Supabase (PostgreSQL hosted on AWS).
- Stripe handles all payment data under their own privacy policy.
- PostHog analytics data is retained for 1 year.

- You can request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing support@carveil.com.
- You can export your submitted deals by contacting support.
- You can opt out of analytics cookies via your browser settings.
